It has been a busy couple of months here at Synergy, culminating this week with the British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association (BHBIA) annual conference in London.
The conference is a highly anticipated event as the winners of the Best of Business Intelligence (BOBI) awards are announced. We are very pleased to be able to report that Synergy won all three of the panel-judged awards that we were short-listed for.
Excellence in data collection and fieldwork – awarded to Tom Poole from Roche and Jon Freeman from Synergy for “Windows into a private world – collecting data in collaboration with a private hospital group to improve access to and use of cancer treatments”
Best business impact – awarded to Stephen Ireland from Janssen and Jon Freeman and Kirstie Norgate from Synergy for “Switching on the Northern Lights”
Excellence in sales force effectiveness – awarded to Ruth Rostron, Kirpal Gandhi & Kiran Amliwala from Astellas and Jon Freeman from Synergy for “A picture is worth a thousand lives: how visual communication of guidelines helped ensure the use of a new antibiotic in appropriate patients to reduce deaths from C. difficile infection”
