Who Are We?

Synergy Healthcare Research is a full service market research agency providing our clients with unparalleled resources and expertise across the entire spectrum of market research services in the healthcare sector.

Based in Central London, we carry out research in the UK, Europe, USA and most other major healthcare markets.

Synergy was set up in 2000 and has a team of nine office based researchers and support staff. In addition, we are supported by three field managers and a network of international affiliate research agencies.

In the UK alone we have access to over 50 field-based interviewers, 4 telephone units with a total of 40+ telephone interviewers and work closely with 3 data processing companies.

Sue Thamia - Director - has a first class degree in Pharmacology, and an MBA. Her commercial career began in 1985 at Rowntree Mackintosh, and Johnson and Johnson, followed by a move to the agency side culminating in six years as Managing Director of Insight Medical Research, prior to setting up Synergy. Sue has contributed to a large number of seminars and training courses, including an award winning paper on the use of projective techniques.

Jon Freeman - Director - has a degree which includes psychology, economics and physics and has worked in market research since 1987 at Taylor Nelson and Insight Medical Research. Jon has presented papers on the quality of research design, the validation of research outputs and has contributed to a number of seminars on topics including new product development, customer needs, branding, advertising research, conjoint and pricing.
