Celebrating Our Shortlisted BOBI Award Submissions Ahead of BHBIA 2026

As we look ahead to the upcoming BHBIA Conference 2026, we are proud and excited to share and celebrate that four Synergy projects that have been shortlisted in this year’s BOBI Awards. We also have Cherie nominated in the Best Newcomer category.

These shortlisted submissions reflect the breadth of work we do and the passion behind every project.

Our shortlisted projects include work recognised in the Best Customer Insight, Best Patient-Centric Approach and Best Use of Innovation categories.

One shortlisted project, in partnership with DEBRA UK, supported the global EB Priority Setting Partnership and has been recognised in the Best Use of Innovation category. EB is a group of rare, genetic skin conditions that cause the skin to become extremely fragile and blister easily. This work helped identify key research priorities across the four main types of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), demonstrating the value of collaboration and innovative thinking in shaping future research agendas.

We are also proud to have been shortlisted in the Best Patient-Centric Approach category for our work with LEO Pharma UK. This research explored the lived experience and wider impact of Chronic Hand Eczema. This project helped bring the patient voice to the forefront, ensuring that real-world experience remained central to understanding and decision-making.

We are proud to share that two of our research projects have been shortlisted in the Best Customer Insight category.

This includes research with Astellas which shone a spotlight on an area of significant unmet need where there is currently no treatment option. The research supported long-term commitment to the patient community and informed efforts to maximise the number of patients who may benefit from a potential future treatment.

We were also shortlisted for our work with Sanofi, where the insights and recommendations generated have gone on to serve as key evidence points within strategy, helping to build confidence for important decisions ahead of a new product launch.

We are incredibly proud of everyone involved in these projects, and especially want to congratulate Charlotte, Lucy, Jenna, Patrick, Amy, Cherie, and Rachael on their shortlisted work.

We would also like to congratulate all our colleagues in the industry who had their work shortlisted and we are looking forward to the BOBI award ceremony on 27th April.
