We got our brains into gear first thing this Monday morning, with our ‘NHS updates’ training session where we sat down as a team to discuss any recent developments in the NHS structure, stakeholders and commissioning.
We were interested to hear feedback from one of our senior research executives Lucy Wates after she attended the BHBIA training day at the end of last year about changes to the NHS run by Michael Sobanja. It was good to refresh our understanding about the new structure including CCGs, LATs (Local Area Teams), Specialised Commissioning Hubs, Clinical Senates, Clinical Networks, AHSNs (Academic Health Science Networks) amongst the many other NHS bodies.
We’re also looking forward to another training session coming up with Fiona Melville – NLP practitioner, about behavioural economics and the increasing role this is playing within healthcare.
